Who needs snow to make a snowman? These children had fun making snowman puppets in Children’s World.
February Break Week visit the library!
WE have 2 great programs this week: On Wednesday, Feb.22 @ 2 pm (in the Curtin Auditorium) we’ll be showing the movie FIRST KID starring Sinbad, Robert Guillaume and Timothy Busfield. Watch the hysterical antics of Sinbad front and center in this raucous comedy about a bumbling, war-hearted secret service agent who’s assigned to look after the trouble making son of the American President.
Thursday, February 23 @ 11 am: Join us with Open Hand Theater and make your very own putppet. Learn about snow and glaciers and enjoy a story about snowmen! Registration is required. Limited to 25.
New Nonfiction for February 2012!
This month at Children’s World, we’ve gotten lots of new picture books, chapter books, DVD’s and nonfiction books. Here are a few of our new nonfiction books that we are really excited about!

Toddlers’ Tango is back!
Saturday, January 28th @3:00 pm
Join us in Children’s World for creative music and dance for your little ones. Children have a unique way of expressing themselves. Toddlers’ Tango helps build self esteem and confidence through the incorporation of props and intruments to music.
